WRS Health Electronic Health Records is a healthcare software developed by practicing physicians to enable themselves run their entire practice, from Electronic Health Records (EHR) Software to Practice Management (PM) to Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), on one comprehensive platform. ONC-ATCB and CCHIT certified WRS Health is a web-based software solution with mobile and handheld device capabilities for private practices and ambulatory services.
WRS Health’s comprehensive EHR covers a wide range of functions to assist in medical practice efficiency. Making patient records available for discreet sharing through secure messaging, e-prescription for quicker dealings with the pharmacy, prompt charting tools, secure faxing, disease management and treatment planning are all features of WRS Health EHR.
The PM and RCM software provide the bridge between the front and back office. While practitioners manage patient consultations, diagnostics and prescriptions the administrative and financial functions are corroborated through scheduling, accurate claims through claim scrubbing and super-bills, inventory checks and overall data management.
WRS Health caters to more than 32 medical specialties, some of which include immunology, bariatric surgery, cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, pain management, and pediatrics. The software has specialty-specific templates and up-to-date with ICD-10 codes. The EMRs also host interfaces with labs and integration with diagnostic equipment unique to that specialty.
For greater patient engagement WRS Health offers dedicated patient portals that send automatic updates of diagnostic tests, scheduled appointments and opens a platform for patients to take their own medical files into their own hands. Patients can schedule appointments, pay bills online, check their reports, ask for prescription refills, and even send their own medical files through the secure messaging feature.
The EMR and PM V5.0 is Surescripts. certified for prescription routing messaging. It has been designed by medical professionals, who leveraged their expertise to help other healthcare providers with similar issues.

Pros: WRS Health EMR has streamlined my patient documentation making it much easier to manage charts and notes. The customizable templates are a lifesaver saving me time during busy days. It integrates well with lab systems which speeds up ordering and receiving results.
Cons: The initial learning curve was steep and training could have been more comprehensive.
Verdict: A reliable system that helps me manage my practice more efficiently despite the effort it took to get up to speed.

Pros: WRS Health EMR is a great program and definitely good value for money. The support is responsive and pleasant to deal with.
Cons: I have faced a few glitches in the WRS Health software but it was just temporary.
