About This Software

Greenway Health offers many software options for medical practices. Though each has its own specific focus, they are still capable of being integrated within one system as multiple modules. The core of the Greenway product line is creating a balanced structure to manage the priorities of clinical, administrative and financial solutions.

Greenway Prime Suite is an ambulatory software that provides clinical, financial, and administrative tools and services to clinics and medical practices. Greenway Health offers both on-site server and cloud-based EHR software. Users are free to choose from one or the other. Cloud-based users of Greenway Health can access files, finish evaluating and writing notes and reports, or sending in claims for billing even when they aren’t in the clinic. This allows a clinicians functionality to be flexible and continuous, and not restrained by office timings or space.

Greenway Health EHR Prime Suite is ICD-10 compliant and certified for Meaningful Use Stages 1 and 2. It is also pre-validated to offer points toward NCQA patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition.

Greenway Health Prime Suite is suitable for not only clinical documentation and primary care, but also supports specialty-specific EMR software including clinical templates, ICD coding, and integration with any diagnostic equipment and imaging software.

Greenway is primarily used as a tool to measure and improve value driven care outcomes and workflow improvement. The Greenway Health product line is designed to be user-centric, with supporting decision making at direct points of care its priority.

Pros: This is a very dynamic program and covers all needs of a busy family practice. All EMR's take time and effort to make them work right, but we still feel we made the right decision to go with Greenway.

Cons: Setting up this program has a lot of time and decision making which is not always understood when you start. This is also why it keeps getting better though as well. Just wish we knew then what we know now.

Pros: Easy for staff to use. Minimal interruption in service. Good customer service. Good resources on Greenway Community.

Cons: Getting set with secure faxing, emailing, etc. not clearly described and not easily accomplished. Physicians feel it is somewhat cumbersome.

Pros: The dedication and team work from all that represent Greenway, always knowledgeable and helpful to us

Cons: No Cons regarding them. The necessary steps are always taken to make sure great service and resolution is provided

Pros: Love that you can track just about anything anyone does. It is very detailed and fairly easy once you get through the learning process.

Cons: Takes quite a while to really understand and get the hang of the software and there are several ways to do most things. Too many 'clicks' for some things.

Pros: The patients are able to access, add to, and receive their medical information at the most convenient time for them.

Cons: At times, some patients tend to misread medical terminology and test results.

Pros: The ease of understanding the use of the software and the ability to retrieve numerous different and useful reports.

Cons: Inability to print account numbers or names on printouts from the account screen. It would be beneficial to have the option to print either, if needed.

Overall: Greenway Health is my preference in medical software.

Pros: I liked the software because I found it totally customizable. Making any template was fairly easier and I could even import a template from another practice into the software. I was able to make most of my templates to shadow the hospital templates which made doctors felt at home while using it. The software also allows me to track almost everything.

Cons: Greenway rep team can help you solve issues, but the response is not timely. There were instances where it took weeks before I got a reply from them. After complaining I was given the email and number of the person I was supposed to contact if I needed help. I think Greenway should hire more tech support.

Overall: Dedicate one member of your team to building templates and adjusting them. Be sure that you know how to contact Greenway in case of emergencies.
