Pros: It shines in specialty care. As a dermatologist I find the imaging tools and customizable templates super helpful.
Cons: Not the best for cross communication with outside systems.
Verdict: For my practice Nextech checks most boxes. It is fast visual and built with my specialty in mind. I just wish it integrated better with external labs.

Pros: I like the OR specific templates and scheduling. Makes documentation post-op straightforward and compliant.
Cons: The learning curve is real takes a while to figure things out.
Verdict: If you are willing to put in the effort becomes a solid partner. It is just not plug and play and you will likely need a dedicated trainer.

Pros: It was oversold to us. The templates do not suit ophthalmology well and customizing them feels like coding.
Cons: Too expensive for the limited flexibility.
Verdict: Regret the investment. There are better options out there for eye care practices. We are considering switching next fiscal year.

Pros: Producing surgery notes is incredibly easy! also, all of my surgical procedures are customized so quickly that it makes it so simple to print out and compile
Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this software.
Verdict: Fantastic EHR software for plastic surgeons like me, customer support is always there to help!
