Pros: The patient portal looks great and after a few updates the software has improved quite a bit.
Cons: I still think that updates need to be made. Its better now than before, but it can still be better. Its not as intuitive as it should be.
Verdict: I would like ascend way more if it was closer to the base dentrix version.

Pros: It has a really well designed layout. When you start to figure things out, the workflow makes much more sense.
Cons: Somtimes I find that things should be done by the software itself rather than having to do it manually.
Verdict: Would reccomend Dentrix Ascend, its a great choice for dental practices.

Pros: Dentrix ascend offers some nice features like customizable reports and the cloud software.
Cons: A lot of glitches, somethings take way too long to load or just decide not to work. The insurance is super confusing.
Verdict: Too much time is spent trying to clean up and figure out these bugs.

Pros: The software has its practice management side integrated really well and the Xray images are great.
Cons: The only thing I can think of is the occasional server problems since they have become pretty inconvenient to work with.
Verdict: I like the software, but the lag and turtling just gets annoying.
