Cons: Navigation feels clunky and updates sometimes create new bugs.

Pros: Allscripts handles the high patient volume of my family practice decently. The e-prescribing tool is reliable and I like the drug interaction alerts. It is also flexible I have tweaked the dashboard to show the metrics I care about most.
Cons: The UI looks like it is stuck in 2010 and training new staff is painful because nothing is intuitive. Oh and the updates often break more than they fix.
Verdict: It is like driving a dependable but rusty old car it runs but you will cringe every time you look at it.

Pros: It does a decent job at handling the basics charting e-prescribing and lab orders work well enough. The customization options are nice letting me tweak templates to fit my internal medicine practice. It is also fairly stable I have not had many crashes or slowdowns.
Cons: The interface feels clunky and outdated and some tasks take way more clicks than they should. Customer support is hit or miss sometimes helpful other times painfully slow to respond.
Verdict: It gets the job done but it is not the most use -friendly system out there. If you can tolerate some inefficiency it is functional but do not expect a seamless experience.
