SammyEHR Software by ICS Software Ltd. is a complete set of software that is intuitive and easy to use. SammyEHR Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software was developed for small to medium-sized practices that aim to speed up their workflow.
SammyEHR Software also includes practice management to cover the billing and operational side of a practice. Claims can be entered quickly and error-free with Sammy. The checks and balances in Sammy make sure to warn users during claim entry to make sure they are good to go and send an error-free batch of claims. Sammy has all the necessary tools needed to provide practices with timely and correct eligibility data. Its eligibility feature automatically manages patients’ insurance statutes and deductibles. The software can also post payments automatically.
SammyEHR Software includes SamNotes, insurance eligibility, electronic prescriptions, and patient portal. The software is customizable and can learn to work the way a physician desires. SamNotes allows practitioners to chart using customizable templates or dictating using Dragon Dictation software. Previous notes can be repeated with just a click, the system will automatically update demographic information as needed. Moreover, providers can import x-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, pictures, etc. into individual patient charts with ease. Sammy automatically generates the problem list by gathering information from other areas of the system. The software has the Clinical Decision Support function to maintain clinical quality measures.
The Meaningful Use (MU) certified software also includes a patient portal to help patients and care staff to communicate better. Patients can send secure messages using the portal, request appointment and fill intake forms.

Pros: The way it gives information on patient demographics. It has some cool features all of which we needed for our practice.
Cons: The support staff people seem to enjoy ignoring their emails and calls for some reason and when you do get contact, they are not the most helpful.
Verdict: Sammy EHR is a great product and we are all very happy with it. Would recommend.

Pros: While most competing companies offer the essentials, SammyEHR also offers a lot more like HIPAA compliance, encrypted video, and e prescriptions, and it helped us effectively achieve better patient care and incentives through programs like PQRS.
Cons: Weve had to contact the support a few times, but they havent been too helpful.
Verdict: This has been a huge difference maker in my practice and definitely offers great value for your money. Overall Im really happy with it.

Pros: Sammy EMR system is very easy to use, it saves us a lot of time when processing claim payments and billing. It has many useful features for podiatry like billing and coding.
Cons: Not many updates.
Verdict: Good EHR software system.
