MEDITECH EHR system is an on-premise Electronic Health Records (EHR) software that offers clinical charting for healthcare professionals working in midsized practices and community hospitals. It has been recognized by Klas as the best, for 2021, in Acute Care EMR, Patient Accounting, and Patient Management as well as Home Health EHR.
The healthcare providers can view patient vitals, lab results, medication information, health history, patient notes, and diagnostic imaging all in one place. Meditech Electronic Medical Records EMR software is a HIPAA-compliant system. It is also Meaningful Use (MU) Stage-2 certified and provides features that assist administrators in attesting for government stimulus packages from the Electronic Medical Records software.
The clinical panels feature of Meditech lets physicians and other providers view the current patient activity and group selected pieces of information into a single screen. They can also be customized according to the physician’s specialty, like dietary or respiratory therapy so that only relevant information is initially shown by the system.
In order to increase interoperability with other software systems, MEDITECH provides Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) that include valuable information about a patient’s visit or hospital stay. These can be printed or transmitted electronically and brought with the patient to future visits or appointments with physicians outside of the software.
Meditech EHR software is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 2000, and Windows 8 operating systems.
