ExamWRITER is ICD-10 compliant and offers all relevant codes for Ophthalmology including customizable templates making documentation for routine examinations quick and comprehensive.

Pros: As a busy ophthalmologist I rely on Eyefinity and its superb imaging integration it pulls OCT and visual field data directly into charts without a hitch. The templates are customizable enough that I rarely need free text notes. Billing is also a breeze with their built in coding suggestions.
Cons: The system occasionally freezes during updates and tech support takes forever to diagnose network related issues. Also the iPad app is clunky compared to the desktop version.
Verdict: Nearly perfect for eye care specialists but the technical glitches and weak mobile experience hold it back from a 5 star rating.

Pros: Its optical shop integration is a game changer. The revenue of my practice from frames and lenses has gone up thanks to its seamless inventory management. The auto population of exam data into progress notes saves me at least 10 minutes per patient. Plus their cloud based version is surprisingly fast.
Cons: The patient portal feels outdated and younger patients complain it is not as intuitive as other systems. Also the lack of a built in telemedicine option is a miss in the market of today.
Verdict: A must have for optometrists but it is lagging in patient facing tech. If you prioritize back office efficiency over patient engagement it is stellar.

Pros: Eyefinity has been a solid choice for my ophthalmology practice. The interface is clean, and the workflow is intuitive especially for eye care specialists. I love how it integrates seamlessly with diagnostic devices saving me a ton of time on manual data entry. The billing module is also pretty efficient which helps reduce claim denials.
Cons: The initial setup was a bit of a headache and the learning curve for non tech savvy staff was steeper than expected. Also the mobile app feels outdated and isn’t as responsive as I would like.
Verdict: A reliable EHR for eye care but it could use some modernization especially in mobile functionality. Worth it if you are in ophthalmology, but be prepared for some setup hassles.

Pros: This is a really user-friendly practice management software for our front desk and some of the billing options are also quite nice.
Cons: My biggest but the only issue is that the integrated fax can be down for hours, and it is not acceptable.
Verdict: We are satisfied with Eyefinity EHR but it needs a bit of work to be done on its functionality.
