Eyefinity EHR
EMR Software

About This Software

eyefinity is an Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) software solution designed especially for ophthalmologists and optometrists. The cloud-based platform provides secure and role-based access from anywhere.

eyefinity EMR software – ExamWRITER – simplifies workflow through automated documentation of patient history, medical examinations, latest test results and prescription history. The software readily integrates with labs, patient portals and several other diagnostic equipment systems such as EyeScape Digital Imaging Systems, Optos, and Zeiss FORUM.

ExamWRITER is ICD-10 compliant and offers all relevant codes for ophthalmology including customizable templates making documentation for routine examination quick and comprehensive.

The Eyefinity PM solution – OfficeMate – provides practice management solutions for running medical practices efficiently by streamlining the documentation of all administrative and financial operations in an office. Tasks such as scheduling, billing and reporting are simplified to maximize the efficiency of each staff member.

The company also offers business solutions by providing assistance with procurement of medical products, ordering of lab results and other support, and maintenance tasks.

eyefinity can also be accessed through handheld devices such as smart phones and tablets. This makes documentation on the go easier, as it eliminates the need of jotting things down and replaces it with simple swiping through built-in templates and drop down menus.

User Reviews

Pros: The system worked fairly well when we were a small practice. As our practice grows - the slower the system gets. After months of arguing that our system is running too slow, they identified the issue as a "bug" in their system and will at some point place it on a list to eventually be looked at. There are reports that we cannot run and areas of the system we cannot use due to "a long running script".

Cons: Way too expensive for what you receive. System issues not being resolved is the biggest complaint. A system "bug" is not important to the support staff, even though it greatly affects our ability to be productive.
