Pros: We have been using McKesson Practice Choice for about a year now. It is a decent system for smaller practices. The interface is fairly straightforward once you get used to it. The scheduling of patients or reviewing basic charts is simple enough. We also appreciate that it is web based so it is so convenient to access it remotely when needed.
Cons: Some features also feel dated especially the reporting tools. Customization is limited which can be frustrating when trying to tailor workflows.
Verdict: It is not perfect but gets the job done for smaller sized clinic without breaking the budget.

Pros: I do not have anything positive to say about this EMR. I have experienced shutdowns, lost data and HIPAA violations.
Cons: Crashes on a daily basis. It almost takes more than 5 minutes to log in and get to a screen where you can finally start working.
Verdict: Not recommended, unless the company offers a version that has lesser problems.
